Competitive Analysis

Fissure is one of the four one-hit KO moves in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Its low accuracy cannot be improved by Wide Lens.

Fissure is a high risk, high reward move that can conclude in two ways: you can instantly eliminate any threats your opponent has, or you can miss and waste your turn, putting you in a vulnerable position.

You can, however, ensure that the move will hit when used after setting up Lock-On, although it is not recommended as this strategy is very predictable.

Do note that you can still use Fissure for Max Quake.
