Third Gym Challenge: Tips & Strategy Guide | |

1 | The simply trick to complete the challenge is to know what the other trainers will do. They can either defeat the pokemon or catch it. |
2 | If you attack first, you can choose a pokemon with a status effect such as paralysis or confusion. This way the opponent will be paralyzed or confused, which might stop them from attacking you. |
3 | You will also have to deal with the trainer. You can make its pokemon feint by using an attack that can both hit the wild pokemon and the trainer's pokemon at the same time. Just be careful, do not use so much power or you will not catch it. Remember you will gain two points from catching. |
4 | On another note, you can still clear the mission without fail when you manage to rack that five points. There is no time limit. |
In this gym mission, there's no need to defeat the gym trainers. They will battle with you, against the pokemon hiding behind grasses. On the other hand, if you wish to defeat their pokemon, check their pokemon line-up below:
It is recommended to bring grass-type pokemon when challenging the gym trainers and leader. Specifically, for gym trainers, check the list of pokemon line-up below:
