How to Use Icy Rock

Icy Rock extends Hail's duration from five turns to eight turns. This item is useful for teams and strategies that utilize Hail without the need of using the move again or switching a Pokemon with Snow Warning in and out of the field.

Blizzard, for example, will have 100% accuracy during Hail, meaning you can use it for more turns without worrying about missing the target.

Pokemon with Ice Body and Snow Cloak will last longer thanks to three additional turns from Icy Rock. Those with Slush Rush will be able to pressure their opponents for more turns as it boosts a Pokemon's Speed during Hail.
