Competitive Analysis

Weather Ball has the effect of doubling its damage depending on weather. This means that it becomes a Fire-type move on Sunny Day, Ice-type move on Hail, Rock-type move on Sandstorm, and Water-type move on Rain Dance.

This move can be helpful for weather teams, since the move becomes a STAB move to the same type as the weather team being used.
