Competitive Analysis

Recycle is used mainly by bulky Pokemon holding HP-recovering berries to recover health again and again.

As long as Recycle users can manage not to get knocked out, it can keep on recycling berries until it runs out of PP.

If the setup involved is too complicated for your strategy, you can opt for Recover instead, as it is much straightforward to use.

Recycle Counters

Pokemon with Unnerve will not stop Recycle from being used, but it will stop opposing Pokemon from eating any berries while the Ability is active in play.

Additionally, you can disrupt the previously-mentioned strategy by using Trick and replacing the Recycle user's berry with a non-consumable item.

Recycle Locations

Recycle is only available by Default, Level Up, or via Egg Moves.
