For the first stage of Endless Forms Most Martial, you'll want to form a team capable of triggering Overloaded reactions.
You can easily clear this stage and complete the challenge with the trial characters, just make sure to defeat the opponents with Overloaded reactions.
Bringing a support, such as Kazuha or Sucrose, who can quickly group enemies and spread element applications, is incredibly advantageous!

The main goal for this stage is to eliminate 20 enemies within 3 seconds after triggering overloaded in a limited period of time.
To accomplish this, bring characters who can quickly apply elements to enemies, triggering the reaction.
If you are bringing trial characters, it is recommended that you bring another Pyro applicator so that you can consistently apply Pyro to enemies when Thoma's burst is on cooldown.

Continuously triggering the Overloaded reaction will allow you to accumulate Phase Variance.
When you have gathered enough Phase Variance and the bar above is full, you will enter Phase Shift, and the next Overloaded reaction you activate will generate a small vortex that will suck opponents in place.
Make sure to use the Phase Shift effect to quickly apply elements to multiple opponents and defeat them with the required reaction.

Characters who can apply Pyro and Electro are ideal for this round since they can trigger the Overloaded reactions and meet the challenge requirements.
Bringing in support characters capable of crowd control is also ideal for easily grouping enemies!
