How to Beat the Black Serpent Knight: Rockbreaker Ax

Do not bring shields

As with the other Abyss Heralds, it is not recommended to bring a Shield Character or Geo characters that can trigger Crystallize, as its attacks will become stronger when they hit shielded units. Although it does so at the cost of its own health, its not worth the time.

If you require defensive characters, bring a healer instead!

Get behind the massive shield

The Rockbreaker Ax will sometimes spawn a massive frontal shield that will block all instances of damage. Make sure to not deploy abilities in front of the shield while this is in effect.

To damage the Black Serpent Knight, simply run and go behind to damage it instead!
