How to Get Metronome

Purchase at the Stow-on-Side Bargain Shop

Bargain Shop.jpg
Located in Stow-on-Side, there is a bargain shop that sells rare items where the prices are not fixed.

You can buy Metronome for ₽3000 if it is the Bargain of the Day.

You can only buy one item per day so it is good to visit daily. Talk to the merchant to check yesterday's, tomorrow's, and today's Bargain of the Day.

Obtain in Ballimere Lake

A Metronome can be found in the Ballimere Lake area of the Crown Tundra DLC.

How to Use Metronome

Metronome powers up a move by 20% if it is used consecutively without fail. It is possible to achieve a 100% boost if the move is successfully used without failing for six turns.

This counter is reset if the holder will use a different move, the move fails to hit its target, or when the holder is switched out.

Metronome seems to be promising as it encourages spamming one move, but that also makes it hard to manage as your opponent will prioritize to force you to use another move, use Protect on their Pokemon, or drag the holder out of the field, resetting Metronome's counter.

Choice Band or Choice Specs are better options as the boost you will get from these items will be always be present.
