Memento Competitive Analysis

Memento is a good move that is often ran on support Pokemon. This move lowers the target's Attack and Special Attack by two stages.

The main reason is support Pokemon usually accomplish their role by setting up hazards, speed control, or barrier. Once their HP is low, they can use Memento. Support Pokemon often have low offensive stats so it is more valuable to try and lower the stats of the opponent instead of its HP.
