These machine enemies can be found in the desert area of Sumeru, and most of them are guarding the temples and ruins. Note that the map above includes all Primal Construct types.
More Primal Construct locations were added in the Desert of Hadramaveth area in the Version 3.4 update.

Primal Constructs fire out during combat while their cores enter an "invisible" state. Using Catalyze reactions or fighting the Primal Constructs with Electro attacks will make the fight easier.
