Should You Reroll on PS4?

Rerolling on PS4 is Not Recommended

New PSN Account needed

Genshin Impact's PS4 version doesn't use a miHoYo ID, but your PSN account and in-game save data are linked.

You will need to create a new PSN account to reroll, which means your savedata on other games may not migrate to this new PSN account.

Genshin Impact's rerolling process takes longer

It takes at least 30 minutes to reroll in Genshin Impact due to the in-game story length before Wishing is unlocked.

If you wish to proceed with the game, it's possible to recruit characters via story progression, and doing so is more advisable.

Reroll Sequence for PS4

Adventure Rank 5: Steps 1 to 6 (Approx. 25 Minutes)
Order	Scene	Explanation
①		Choose and name your character
②		Complete the tutorial
③		Defeat Stormterror
④		Enter the Knights of Favonius' headquarters (Unlock Wishes upon ending the scene)
⑤		Receive the 10 Acquaint Fates from the pre-registration campaign in your Mailbox
⑥		Choose a banner and pull ※If you get the character you want, you're finished with this process.
Adventure Rank 7: Steps 7 to 8 (Approx. 50 Minutes)
⑦		Clear the 3 temples in the story.
⑧		Claim your Adventure Rank 7 rewards from the Adventurer's Guild kiosk.
⑨		Receive your rewards from the mail.
⑩		Draw an additional 10 roll from the Featured Banner.
⑪	Add a PSN account and return to ①. PSN Account Creation Procedure On PS4, press and hold the PS button on the controller. Choose Switch User from the Power Options column. Select "New User" Create a new user account.

▼Traverse the Map With Sprinting and Climbing

Sprinting will take you to places quicker. Once you reach Mondstadt, climbing can open up shortcuts that make it quicker to navigate about.

Beware of running out of stamina. You'll drop from whatever you're climbing from or drown in water if you run out in certain situations.

▼Ignore Unnecessary Enemies

On your way to Mondstadt you should ignore optional enemy camps to save time. The yellow marker on the map is for your quest destination.

Two quests along the way will require you to fight enemies.

▼Take Out Slimes With Elemental Talents

During the quest Unexpected Power you'll face off against a group of slimes. If you don't use your Elemental Talent you'll be forced to retry.

▼Use Amber Against the Hilichurls

If you use Amber you can defeat the group of Hilichurls easily. Use Amber's charge shot on the HIlichurl on the cliff.

▼Lynn's Cooking Quest is Skippable

The quest you receive from Lynn to cook something is not necessary to complete before moving on. Once you're satisfied with your rolls you can come back for this quest.

▼Keep Your Cursor On Stormterror

Defeating Stormterror is as simple as keeping the aiming reticle on it while holding the attack button.
