How to Get Twisted Spoon

Purchase at the Stow-on-Side Bargain Shop

Bargain Shop.jpg
Located in Stow-on-Side, there is a bargain shop that sells rare items where the prices are not fixed.

You can buy Twisted Spoon for ₽3000 if it is the Bargain of the Day.

You can only buy one item per day so it is good to visit daily. Talk to the merchant to check yesterday's, tomorrow's, and today's Bargain of the Day.

How to Use Twisted Spoon

The Twisted Spoon has the effect of increasing the power of Psychic-type Moves by 1.2x.

This can be an alternative to choice items since it does not penalize the user in using only one move. However, it is important to note that this only affects Psychic-type Moves and is recommended to be used by Psychic-type Pokemon that benefit from STAB.

Twisted Spoon vs Choice Item

Twisted Spoon is generally a viable item for Psychic-type Pokemon but sometimes you may think that Choice Band or Choice Specs may be the better item to use.

Advantage Disadvantage
Twisted Spoon ・20% damage boost to Psychic-type moves
・Can use all moves
・Only boost Psychic-type moves
Choice Band or Choice Specs ・50% boost to Atk/Sp.Atk ・Locked to one move

The right held item to use will depend on the strategy you plan to do with your Pokemon.

If your Pokemon will only rely on one Psychic-type move, then a Choice item will be the better option. If you think you need to cover the weaknesses of your Pokemon with other moves, then let it hold Twisted Spoon so it can use non-Psychic-type moves.
