You will always start with Psyduck which makes it so your opponents cannot use misty or professors research in the early game. Only 1 pokeball necessary since it cannot find fossils. Golduck deals good damage if you get him on turn 2, so you can start chunking moltres and mewtwo. Once Omastar is up and running you will be able to 1v1 anything.
