How to Receive All Rewards
|
Elemental Crucible introduces an event specific challenge system known as the Alchemy Handbook that provides a variety of different rewards for meeting various requirements. These rewards can be received even without using any Original Resin so you should go for these first. Don't forget to claim your rewards before the event ends!
※The Alchemy Handbook can be accessed from the Event menu.
Elemental Crucible is an event that can only be played in Co-Op mode. If you attempt to play alone you will be automatically matched with random players.
When you want to join up with your friends, you must already be in a Co-Op group together. Attempting Elemental Crucible during Co-Op mode will allow you to join with the players currently in your game rather than attempt to match you with random players.

Collect Clots of the Same Color Prioritize Defeating Enemies (Especially Archers!) Don't Follow Your Teammates Don't Collect More Than 3 Clots
|
You should always make sure the Elemental Clots you pick up are of the same color. If you pick up a Clot of a different color you will lose the previous Clots, making your efforts in vain. Try to stay away from other colors until you've put the ones you have into the Elemental Crucible.
Elemental Clots will disappear after too many Elemental Reactions. Ranged enemies are especially annoying to chase down and the Clots you spent time picking up will end up going to waste so as soon as an enemy appears you should prioritize taking them out.
Example ・You pick up an Electro Elemental Clot. ↓ ・You get hit by an arrow imbued with Pyro and the Overloaded reaction occurs, causing the Clot to disappear. |
This is especially vital when playing with random players as communication is more difficult. As the goal of this event is to collect as many Elemental Clots as you can, if you head in the same direction as your teammates you won't be as efficient at picking them up so watch their movements and head in a direction they aren't.
You can hold 3 Elemental Clots at the same time, but if another Clot of the same color is too far away or the only nearby Clots are of different colors, take what you're currently holding over to the Elemental Crucible before going after more. If you try too hard to pick up 3 there's a high chance you may get hit by an enemy that causes an Elemental Reaction, resulting in you losing what you had.
