It really is up to your preferences. The two fill similar rolls, but can also have good synergy together so they can work well by themselves or teamed up. I'd recommend looking up Lauma teams (both with and without Nahida) and seeing if any look good to you. However, generally its better not to go for such similar characters unless you have a specific reason to.

Lmao I've no idea what you feed that simulation to make a shielder out-damage Nahida, but this is just nonsense... Nahida's Dendro app is on its own so high that you can double the amount of bloom cores you generate. Her personal damage is insane. She gives 250 EM to the active character. Her damage has crazy AoE too. The only offensive thing Kirara has is her C6's small dmg% buff. (I'm not saying Kirara is bad, she is an amazing defensive unit, just that she isn't as good offensively)
S rank Main DPS Varesa -, Mualani -, Kinich -, Chasca -, Gaming -, Navia -, Alhaitham - (Kirara won), Hu Tao -, Lyney -, Ayaka - , Wriothesley -, Clorinde - this is the best support for A rank Tighnari end... these are the best character teams in which Nahida is not the best choice why SS rank? Raiden C2 A rank move Nahida C2 to rank A Nahida is not needed for SS and S ranks main dps they are better off without her there are other supports that will give them more
Yes the set is different because Kirara can take favonius and Xingqui enough energy without the emblem nahida can't do this she needs to collect EM. Your simulation has different artifact sets on Xingqui, so its not really a meaningful comparison. Also one team possibly having Nahida and Kirara equivalent in a certain situation doesn't mean Kirara is as good as Nahida in other teams or situations. And even if they were equivalent why does that mean Nahida should be demoted and not Kirara promoted or combination of the two?
