HoD is there to use. It has Crit DMG to make up for not having Def scaling. Just stack him with more CDMG as he gain more CR from the passive of this weapon.

i have 2.8k def on albedo with a def hat and 2.3k def with a crit dmg hat which should i use

although i get what youre saying and i appreciate it im not really doing a full on freeze team my ganyu has 4pc wanderers, not blizzard and tbh i just kinda want as much damage i can get, im not really a strict player with full on comps and stuff, i just want as much damage i can. i appreciate the help though ! :)
another team you could do is Wanderer’s troupe Ganyu - Zhongli - Xiangling - Bennett and use reverse melt. It does huge damage

geo and freeze don’t mix well together since geo damage breaks freeze which makes the Blizzard artifact worse to use. Standard Freeze team uses Cryo Main damage dealer(Your Ganyu or an Ayaka), swirl support(Anemo Traveler works as a F2P option but Venti and Kazuha are the best), Hydro applier(Your Koko, which is one of the best alongside Mona), and usually a secondary cryo for the res(Kaeya, Rosaria, Shenhe), and then you should focus all your resources on getting ATK/CDMG for your cryos
is that a bad team bc i thought it was good with the geo res and the freeze😭 i also switch kokomi and xiangling for a melt idk im starting to doubt myself atp 💀💀💀

Oh yeah also my cinnabar is only lvl 70 and r3 while my freedom sworn is 90 already and overall his damage with fs is better, and the attack buff from it really helps my team.. btw my team is ganyu/zhongli/albedo/kokomi if that helps.. 😭
yeah you definitely need to put cinnabar on him and go def time piece geo dmg cup crit rate/dmg hat
