Unlock Fortune-Mocking Pedigree by completing the previous quest, Destined Encounter!
Destined Encounter Quest Guide
Look for Paimon inside the house after you've fully woken up. As you walk towards the house, a strange man will berate you for being there. After telling your story, go inside the house.
Talk to Eide about the hilichurl lying on the bed by the wall. After your discussion with Eide and the history of Khaenri'ah, head outside onto to the fields.
Eide will ask for your help to synthesize the Nameless Taboo Medicine of the Royal Court. Make sure you have two Kalpalata Lotus and Sumeru Roses ready in your inventory for the entire quest.
After crafting the medicine in the Crafting Bench, go to the nearby Statue of the Seven and watch Eide worship The Statue. Afterwards, head back to the house and administer the dose of medicine to the hilichurl.
Once you've convinced Eide to try healing Caribert again, go to the waterfall while he creates the fertilizer needed for the Strange Mushroom.
Head back to the field and give Eide the water from the waterfall. As he does his work, defeat the attacking monsters who are attracted to the Strange Mushroom.
Talk to Eide once you've defeated the monsters. Afterwards, pick the strange mushrooms then head over the Crafting Bench and craft another Nameless Taboo Medicine of the Royal Court.
Once done, go again to the nearby Statue of The Seven for Eide to worship it again.
