Destined Encounter Walkthrough

Talk to Masrur

Head over to Port Ormos and talk to Masrur about a stranger who exploited a loophole in their Mailing System. Afterwards, obtain the letter from him and read its contents.

Go to Djafar Tavern

After learning that the letter is from Kaeya, wait until the following morning (16:00 - 18:00) and go to Djafar Tavern. There you'll see Kaeya trying out different local alcoholic beverages.

Go to the Place Dainsleif Mentioned

Dainsleif will then tell you about regaining a piece of memory that involves his travels with the Traveler's twin. Go to the place Dainsleif mentioned in Avidya Forest, afterwards.

Enter the House to Investigate

Enter the house to know more. After a short while, investigate the interior of the house. You'll have to investigate the bed, a box, and a bowl that resembles a mortal and pestle. Talk to Dainsleif about everything you discovered inside the house.

Check out the Situation Outside

Check out the situation outside after Dainsleif mentions about hearing a noise. Defeat the attacking monsters, which consists of a mob of enemy slimes.

Talk to Dainsleif

Talk to Dainsleif after defeating the monsters. He will then investigate the forest for Ley Line anomalies, while you take a rest. Light the bonfire by the field using a Pyro attack.

Talk to Paimon

Talk to Paimon while you sit by the bonfire. After dozing off to sleep, talk to Dainsleif as soon as you wake up. You'll also get the Star-Crossed Night achievement after.
