Film Notes is a World Quest that was released in Version 2.8 of Genshin Impact. Learn how to unlock this quest, the correct script dialogue choices, and a quest walkthrough here in this guide!

Genshin's Film Notes quest will only be unlocked after completing the Seventh Samurai quest in Inazuma. Once you complete the quest, go to the Kamisato Estate and talk to Furuta to get the Film Notes quest.
| How to Complete Film Notes | |

| 1 |  Talk to Furuta in the Kamisato Estate. |
| 2 |  Look for Xavier in the island east of Inazuma City and talk to him to begin the shoot. |
| 3 | Choose the correct lines for Act 1 from your script.

| 4 |  Shoot the scene by defeating the bandits and moving to the new areas on the right. |
| 5 |  Defeat the Kairagi and open the two cages to rescue your co-actors. This will wrap up the scene. |
| 6 |  Go to Uyuu Restaurant in Inazuma City and eat food with Xavier. |
| How to Complete Film Notes | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Leave the restaurant to look for and talk to your two co-actors. Their locations are marked on your map. |
| 2 |  Adjust your in-game clock to a little after 18:00. You can see the in-game clock function in your game menu. |
| 3 |  Go to the Komore Teahouse in Inazuma City and look for the room with Xavier and your co-actors. Talk to Xavier to begin filming the next act. |
| 4 | Choose the correct lines for Act 2 from your script.

| 5 | Once the scene wraps up, you have to adjust your in-game clock again. Time travel to 18:00 on the next day. |
| 6 |  Go to Nazuchi Beach and defeat the enemies talking to Xavier and your co-actors. |
| 7 |  Talk to Xavier to begin the shoot. You have to stay inside the shooting area, defeat the enemies, and change your position by walking into the blue markers. |
| 8 | Once the scene wraps up, you have to adjust your in-game clock again. Like before, time travel to 18:00 on the next day. |
| 9 |  Go to the quest marker on the island east of Inazuma City. Xavier and your co-actors will be on the very top of the big rock formation. You can use the Electrogranum and Thunder Spheres to get there. |
| 10 |  Finish the last act by choosing the correct lines from your script. You'll also have fight and beat Sasano after you say the second line.

| 11 |  You'll fall off the cliff once the scene wraps up. Just use the Electrogranum and Thunder Spheres to get back up. |
| 12 |  Talk to Xavier to complete the Film Notes quest! |
