Found in the Golden Apple Archipelago

All Kaboomball Kombat challenge locations can be found in the northwest area of Minacious Isle, in the Golden Apple Archipelago. The challenges can be accessed through a painting on the island initially locked by a Water Dome.

Stage 1: Incoming Kaboomballs!

	Foggy-Groggy Ball A dirty Kaboomball. If you are hit and unable to return it, it will create a dust cloud that obstructs vision!
	Super-Simple Ball An ordinary Kaboomball. Use it to assault Dodofortresses!
	Breezy-Burny Ball A Kaboomball of great power. Reflect it toward Dodofortresses to deal greater DMG!
	Natter-Chatter Ball An intriguing Kaboomball...? After a successful return shot, the Dodofortress will fire 3 Kaboomballs in quick succession!

Stage 1 Tips and Strategies

Use Characters who can Improve your Sprint

In the Kaboomball Kombat Event, you will have to sprint a lot to reach the Kaboomballs from one place to another. We recommend using characters with Passive Talents that either improve your sprint or decrease stamina consupmtion while sprinting.

Mona	• Special Sprint helps you move through the court faster.
Rosaria	• Passive Talent increases Movement SPD during night time.
Kazuha	• Passive Talent reduces sprinting stamina consumption.
Kaeya	• Passive Talent reduces sprinting stamina consumption.
Razor	• Passive Talent reduces sprinting stamina consumption.

Move to the Back of the Court

We recommend to staying at the back of the court because it gives you more time to sprint to the Kaboomball, and a general direction of the direction it's going!

	Chilly-Frilly Ball If a character is hit and unable to return it, they will be affected by Cryo and move slowly!

Stage 2 Tips and Strategies

Hit the Chilly-Frilly Balls from the side

To avoid getting hit by the Chilly-Frilly, do not face it head on! The Dodoguard moves in a circular motion so even if you move to the side, you will still be able to hit the Kaboomball. Focus on getting it past you for a moment then return it.

Chilly-Frilly Balls Launch Pattern

The Chilly-Frilly can be launched in two ways: once in a straight line and another in succession. You can hit the straight line rather easily but the ones in succession are harder to hit! Make sure you're in the dry part of the court when it happens and just stay there to hit them.

Super-Simple Ball launches vertically

The Super-Simple Ball is not so simple to hit when it's launched in an arch. You need to catch it with your dodoguard while it's airborne in order to return it!

Avoid the wet part of the court

Stay in the middle of the court especially if there's a chance that you'll get hit by the ball. The back part is wet so if you get hit by the Chilly-Frilly Ball there, you get Frozen!

Get the Ping Pong Shazamruit!

We highly recommend getting this fruit especially during the Dodofortress' Fury Faze, because it returns all Kaboomballs while it's active!

Stage 3 Tips and Strategies

Dodofortress Phases Attack Pattern

Phases	Attack Pattern
Phase 1	The Dodofortress will start attacking with Natter-Chatter Balls, which will spawn 3 consecutive Super-Simple Balls. It will then start launching Breezy-Burny Balls that will fly past fast.
Phase 2	After you defeat the first Dodofortress, the next one will start launching Twisty-Turny Balls with a mix of Super-Simple Balls and Breezy-Burny Balls. Beware of the Twisty-Turny Balls, because they're very hard to hit!
Phase 3	Dodofortresses will launch the Super-Simple Balls in arches! It will then launch Foggy-Groggy Balls consecutively and finally, it will send a barrage of Chilly-Frilly Balls. The third Dodofortress will also spawn a shield.
Other Phases	The other phases include a combination of all the balls thrown in the mix!

Observe Twisty-Turny Ball Trajectory

Once a Twisty-Turny Ball is launched, it will change it's trajectory only once. Once it's in the new direction, you can follow it and hit it!

Return as much Breezy-Burny Balls as you can!

The first Dodofortress will rain a lot of Breezy-Burny Balls. These balls are fast, so be sure to use a character that can sprint quickly like Kazuha, Razor, or Kaeya!

Avoid the wet part of the court

The Dodofortress will launch a literal barrage of Chilly-Frilly Balls so it's best to keep in the middle to avoid being frozen!

Get Zoom-Fwoom and Ping Pong Fruits

These two Shazamfruits will help you get a high score! Zoom-Fwoom Fruits will allow you to catch up to any Twisty-Turny Balls, while Ping Pong Fruits will save you from having to hit the arching Super-Simple Balls!
