chests dont respawn, that 100% is like a 90 or 95% of chests, and if you find common chests that dont give any primos, that's because they are common. The chest rework was in the chasm and more updated versions.

Chests do respawn, but they don't give any primogems. I'm facing this right now in Liyue, haven't been there in months, and I'm trying to 100% it. The compass keeps finding chests that do no give any primos, and in fact they do not count toward the completion percentage. I'm also pretty positive that I have reopened the same chest multiple times. Can't confirm the whole "more chests spawn depending on AR", since my AR has been 55 for months now, but I doubt they do.
Idk, im AR 55 and i still find random chests in Mondstadt and Liyue every single day. and im almost 100% on the WHOLE Map Currently (as of Nov 12,2021)
I agree that chests do not respawn, but you are incorrect in saying that 100% exploration means you will no longer find chests. I have video proof that I still find chests after reaching 100% exploration in that area.
Hi just want to comment on this, As of now chests do NOT respawn. There is also an official statement from Mihoyo. The reason why people think that chests respawn is, that there are some chests that unlock or spawn after certain adventure ranks making people think that those chests are actually respawning. Certain people who have 100% on each exploration zones on, do not find any chests anymore. I really like your site, so just want to make things updated ;)
