How to Unlock To Scorn the Frost

Talk to Lu Zhinan Behind the Tree in Snow Sparring Hall

To Scorn the Frost Map Location
Region Liangzhou Town, Hexi

To trigger the quest To Scorn the Frost, you must approach Lu Zhinan behind the tree, in Snow Sparring Hall. The conversation will reveal that Lu Zhinan has been admiring the woman named Shen Mo from afar.

To Scorn the Frost Walkthrough

Step Objectives

Objective 1
Talk to Lu Zhinan, who can be found hiding behind the tree in Liangzhou Town. He will reveal to you that he has been admiring a woman named Shen Mo. However, he also insinuates that he's shy to go and talk to her, prompting you to assess her character.

Objective 2
After conversing with Lu Zhinan, go down the slope and talk to Shen Mo.

Objective 3
Return to Lu Zhinan and use Tai Chi to propel him towards Shen Mo.

Objective 4
Approach them and wait for their conversation to end. Lu Zhinan will also reveal that he has been admiring Shen Mo for her bladework, while also eventually seeking combat guidance as well.

Objective 5
Talk to Shen Mo again to complete the quest and get your rewards!
