To unlock the Wandering Tale The Third Buddha Light, go to Mercyheart Town located on the western side of Sundara Land. In the town, talk to Yang Yixian kneeling on the Buddha Flowers.

1. Talk to Yang Yixian in Mercyheart Town

WWM - Talk to Yang Yixian in Mercyheart Town

Talk to Yang Yixian in Mercyheart Town to learn about what happened to his father and his dealings with Miaoshan in Bodhi Sea.

2. Find the Lost Old Ledger in Bodhi Sea

WWM - Take the Lost Old Ledger Under the Table

Travel to the northwest side of Bodhi Sea surrounded by a marsh. At the center of the marsh is a tower. To the left of the tower, on the map, is a building with a Buddha statue inside. Take the Lost Old Ledger underneath the table in front of the statue.

This area is also the location of the Bodhi Sea Campaign, where you obtain the Buddha's Light Jade: Yin that is partly necessary to start the Jianghu Legacy The Promised Light.

3. Return the Lost Old Ledger to Yang Yixian

WWM - Return the Old Lost Ledger to Yang Yixian

Return to Mercyheart Town and give the Lost Old Ledger to Yang Yixian, who will cryptically foreshadow Miaoshan's return “when the light of Buddha returns for a third time”.
