To unlock Wandering Tale Heart of Iron, you need to talk to the NPC named Ye Meng.

- Talk to Zhang Yinmang
- Find and Strike the Two Drums
- Return to Zhang Yinmang's Location
- Defeat General Ye Wanshan
- Obtain Ye Wanshan's Dagger
- Give Ye Wanshan's Dagger to Ye Meng
1. Talk to Ye Meng
Talk to Ye Meng to start the quest. The NPC is located near the Back Mountain boundary stone.
2. Talk to Zhang Yinmang in Bodhi Sea
Travel to Bodhi Sea and talk to Zhang Yinmang. He can be found at the center of the area striking a drum.
This part up to defeating Ye Wanshan are all part of the Bodhi Sea Campaign, which you have to complete as part of the Wandering Tale.

3. Find and Strike the Drums in Bodhi Sea

Approach and strike the three drums around the area, you can figure out its location by following the sound. Every drum will have a group of enemy guarding it, If you have Veil of Stillness you can sneak up on enemies to defeat them. During this quest lightness skills are restricted so you wont be able to double jumb or fly.
Be careful of travelling through the swamp since Crocodiles will attack you if you stick around too long. After defeating all the enemies and ringing the drums go to Zhang Yinmang in the center temple.
4. Return to Zhang Yinmang's Location
Return to Zhang Yinmang's location. This will trigger a cutscene that takes you to Ye Wanshan's Illusion. Once inside the illusion, just follow the trail of spirits and hear their conversations. You can't run at this point until you reach the end of the trail.
5. Defeat General Ye Wanshan
Defeat General Ye Wanshan. The boss is fairly easy to beat as you only need to parry his normal attacks, deflect red attacks, and dodge yellow attacks.

6. Obtain Ye Wanshan's Dagger
After defeating Ye Wanshan, you'll be teleported to the center of Bodhi Sea. Turn to your right and enter the ruined building to obtain Ye Wanshan's Dagger. It's inside a small box on a table.
7. Give Ye Wanshan's Dagger to Ye Meng
Once you obtain Ye Wanshan's Dagger, return to Ye Meng and give it to him to complete the quest. He can be found in the same location near the Back Mountain boundary stone.
