How to Befriend Tian Heng
Glare at Tian Heng to Threaten Him
One ways to befriend Tian Heng is to roleplay glaring at him to scare him from his demands to apologize to his daughter. After that, tell him to be lenient with his daughter as he is overprotective to her. There is a chance that this will trick the AI to befriend you and if it doesn't work, reset the AI to try again.

(hands on hips, glaring fiercely) What's
this? An idle wanderer chatting with
my daughter? I knew it, she's been led
astray by people like you! Hurry up and
apologize to her! |
 Why should I apologize? I haven't done anything wrong |
(voice rising, face reddening) You dare

have slipped because of your influence!
Apologize now, before I lose my

Note that AI conversations can be unpredictable and even with the same inputs, the same result is not necessarily guaranteed.

How to Succeed in AI Chat
Reset Dialogue When Stuck
If your conversation has gone off the rails, or doesn't end no matter what you say, it's best to simply reset and start anew from a clean slate by clicking the button with a Refresh icon at the top of the chat box. Instead of trying several methods within one conversation, trying one strategy at a time and refreshing if it doesn't go anywhere is generally more effective.
Return to Login Screen if Combat Begins
Sometimes, NPCs will suddenly become violent during AI dialogues. When this happens, it's best to just bail out to the login screen; when you return, the NPC will be found just as they were before the conversation started.
If you accidentally kill a dialogue-capable NPC, our experience has shown that they will respawn, but this has not been heavily tested, so it's best to simply avoid engaging them in combat.
Double-Check the Hint
Even if the NPC appears to be happy with the result of your discussion, this won't always end the dialogue. Double-checking the text written in the hint will imply the win condition, so try strategies which will lead the dialogue towards that result.
