How to Unlock Breaking the Knot

Accept the Disguise Commission from Wuyan

Breaking the Knot Map Location

Unlock Req. Complete Disguise - Veil of Love

Breaking the Knot is available as a Disguise Commission from Wuyan at the Fairgrounds in Kaifeng city. You need to complete Disguise: Veil of Love first before unlocking this commission.

Breaking the Knot Walkthrough

Step Objectives

Objective 1
Head north of the Fairgrounds and speak with Chen Lianniang at her house.

Objective 2
Stand near the wooden shelf opposite of Chen Lianniang to draw her portrait. Move the reticle to start sketching her.

Objective 3
Go back to Wuyan and choose "Put on a disguise". Choose Chen Lianniang from the Portrait Selection to disguise as her.

Objective 4
Once disguised as Chen Lianniang, head to the quest location west of the Harmonic Span Boundary Stone. If you have that fast travel spot unlocked, you can teleport there to skip walking from Wuyan's disguise shop to the destination.

Objective 5
Find Scholar Hu near the water and approach the two to activate a cutscene and complete the side quest.
