How to Fly in Where Winds Meet

Complete the Afterglow Jianghu Legacy Quest

# Objectives

WWM - Afterglow location
Speak with the Wayfarer in Moonveil Mountain to access the Jianghu Legacy quest in the Exploration Menu.
2 WWM - Afterglow - Fisherman
Head to Witherwilds or Porcelain Kin in Moonveil Mountain. Keep following the tracker found in the map until you find a fisherman by the lake.

WWM - Afterglow - Learn Meteor Flight.png
Speak with the Fisherman, Master Qiu Yuehai, and he will teach you the Meteor Flight technique.

Watch the quicktime event unfold. Afterwards, you will need to accomplish Master Que Yuehai's challenge to you by crossing the wine jars to get to the boat.

Complete the Wine Jar Challenge, then claim the Meteor Flight Manual at the boat.

Speak to Master Qiu Yuehai, who is a fisherman located by a lake in Moonveil Mountain. You will need to pass his challenge and present to him the Afterglow Pendant to learn how to fly with the Meteor Flight skill.

Afterglow Jianghu Legacy

Reach Exploration Level 4

Farm Exploration Points

Next, you need to farm exploration points and reach Exploration Level 4 to be able to fly in the region that you are in. You must complete this step per region, as the exploration points you earn in a region only allow you to use fly in that region.

After reaching Exploration Level 4, you will be rewarded with the Afterglow Pendant. Bring this to Master Que Yuehai to officially learn the Meteor Flight skill.

In order to fly, you need to unlock any Lightness Mystic Skill, which is the skill used to fly around the map. Players can unlock any Lightness Skill of their choosing, as they function similarly, with slight variations in aesthetics.

To unlock the Meteor Flight Mystc Skill, you need to complete the Afterglow quest. Completing this quest will unlock the Meteor Flight lightness skill, which allows you to fly through the map.

Unlocking the Thousand-Mile Flight Mystic skill is a straightforward process. It is automatically unlocked after your fourth consecutive login, making this Mystic Skill the easiest to unlock.

The Fan Glider Mystic Skill is available after accumulating 6,000 Exploration Points in Qinghe. Since only 4,000 points are required to unlock flying in Qinghe, acquiring this Mystic Skill is optional, as the ability to fly is already available before reaching this point.

The Wind Rider Mystic Skill is obtained after accumulating 9,000 Exploration Points in Qinghe. To achieve this objective, it is necessary to reach 100% Area Exploration in the Region of Qinghe.

Qinghe 4000 Points: Afterglow Pendant
Kaifeng 4000 Points: Flight Medallion

Flying will become available in the region once the necessary exploration points have been reached, which unlocks the item required to use Flying skills in that region.

Cover Great Distances in the Air

Flying through the use of a Lightness Mystic Skill lets you gain a lot of height and reach other places in the region quickly, at the expense of endurance. This lets you explore uncharted areas faster and reach high areas with little difficulty.

The way each flying skill works is basically the same, with the main difference being how they look.
