The Path of No Return |
To unlock the Wandering Tale Deep Pond of Pear Blossoms, speak with Yuan Xiaoman beside Wang Sheng's corpse on the cliff side near the Martial Temple. You will find her there after completing the Wandering Tale, Path of No Return. After speaking with her, the NPC Chen Baolai will spawn at the Buddha statue shop in the Sundries Market.

Deep Pond of Pear Blossoms Walkthrough
1. Speak with Chen Baolai
After talking with Yuan Xiaoman, go to the Buddha Statue shop in the Sundries Market. From the Boundary Stone, walk down the street until you see the arch to the right. Pass through the arch and follow the path until you reach the stairs. The shop is on the left.
Speak with Chen Baolai inside the shop; he is offering a large reward to anyone who can bring him Pear Blossom Wine.
2. Speak with Hu Fu
To get the next clue, speak with Hu Fu. You can find him sweeping in front of the stairs. He will mention that he once saw the man Chen calls Mr. Pear Blossom Under the pear tree in the Forsaken Quarter.
3. Gather the Pear Blossom Wine
Go to the Forsaken Quarter, from the entrance, head south towards the large tree with white flowers. Look between the tree and barrels, the Pear Blossom Wine bottle will be on the ground.
4. Give the Wine to Chen Baolai
Go back to Chen Baolai and give him the wine bottle to end the quest.
Post Quest: Wang Sheng’s Family is Taken In by Chen Baolai
After completing the Deep Pond of Pear Blossoms quest, return to the statue after a day, and you will find Yuan Xiaoman and her son at the shop. In memory of his dear friend, Chen has taken his family in to care for them.

What happened to this website? It was my goto for everything and was really good in Qinghe but for Kaifeng every quest has stupid directions with weird photos that are useless. "Go find Hu Fu near the stairs", stairs you can't even see when you go outside the shop. Was it hard to add a map with the location? (like you did for other quests) or at least give some better direction "exit the shop and go straight, he will be on the left side near Midang and some stairs".
