Get the Letter From the Lie Brother's and Find the Farmer in Encircling Lake

Jianghu Legacy - Echoes of Old Battles
|
To unlock the Encounter Where the Soul Returns, complete the Jianghu Legacy - Echoes of Old Battles. Once the two brothers are reuinited near the entrance to the dungeon speak with them, show them the Northern Vow and receive the Brotherhood Contract. This may take a few tries before it triggers.

| Step | Objectives |

| 1 |  After receiving the letter from the Lie brothers, travel to Encircling Lake. Speak to the Farmer dragging a coffin on the intersection northwest of the Encircling Lake Boundary Stone. |
| 2 |  The farmer is trying to get Cui Xiaojin’s remains home to Harvestfall Village. Show him the letter that you received from the Lie brothers. After reading the letter, he will ask for your help to bring the brothers to him. |
| 3 |  Go to Harvestfall Village and look for the Brothers. Ask the marked villagers for help, and they will all refuse you once you mention Cui Xiaojin, a known traitor in Harvestfall Village. |
| 4 |  Go to the Village Chief and ask him for Lie Bujin’s location, and go to the Northern Vow Ruins to find him. |
| 5 |  You can find Lie Bujin on top of the entrance gates in the Northern Vow Ruins. After speaking with him, you will be teleported back to the farmer in Encircling Lake. |
| 6 |  Speak with the farmer, Lie Bujin will confirm that the person in the coffin really is Cui Xiaojin. Speak with Bujin and help him bring Xiaojin home. |
| 7 |  Speak with Bujin; he will tell you to be careful of the framer since he suspects him of being a Khitan. Travel back to the farmer in Encircling Lake to let him know that Xiaojin has been returned to Harvestfall village. |
| 8 |  The Farmer will die as you relay the news to him. He will ask you to cremate his remains and deliver a letter to his wife before he goes. Arrange the wood in a nearby area, and afterwards follow the waypoint to collect some flowers to place around the farmer. |
| 9 |  Travel to Crimson Cliff and look for the farmer’s wife, Cai Zhu, under the maple trees. Deliver the Farmer’s ashes and letter to her. Decide on what to say to Yingying; the quest will end after your choice. |
