How to Unlock Path of No Return

Look for Wang Sheng on the Cliff Side Near the Martial Temple

Path of No Return Map Location
Region Kaifeng

To unlock the Wandering Tale Path of No Return, speak with Wang Sheng. He will be sitting on the cliffside near the stairs leading up to the Martial Temple. After teleporting to Martial Temple, go down the stairs, at the very end, turn left, and you'll find him injured on the rocks.

Path of No Return Walkthrough

Step Objectives
1
Objective 1
Speak with the injured Wang Sheng. He will ask for your help to retrieve a small box from the tree behind the Martial Temple and deliver it to his family in the Forsaken Quarter.

Objective 2
Go to the southwest end of the Martial Temple and climb over the wall to the largest tree. Use Wind Sense and look up to see the box on top of a branch.

Objective 3
Scale the tree until you reach the branch where the box is. Pick it up and teleport to the Forsaken Quarter.

Objective 4
The white-blooming pear tree is just beside the entrance of the Forsaken Quarter. From the entrance, head south until you reach the tree.

Objective 5
Enter the house beside the pear tree, Yuan Xiaoman will be sweeping in front of the door. Give her the box, and she will ask you to deliver her message for Wang Sheng to return home.

Objective 6
Go back to the location where you first met Wang Sheng and deliver the message. The quest will be completed after Wang Sheng passes away.
