Where Winds Meet - Spotlight Mode

Spotlight Mode is a feature that lets you upload your photos or videos and let AI generate character emotes, poses, audio, and camera movements from them. Learn more about Spotlight Mode and how to use it here!

How to Use Spotlight Mode

Upload a Video or Image as a Reference

Where Winds Meet - Spotlight Mode - Upload Video or Image.png

Upload a video or image and let AI generate custom pose, emote, or camera movement based on those. For videos, it's best to use a single, front-facing, and unobstructed video as a reference.

Mix In Presets

You can also apply pose, emote, audio, or camera movement presets to your AI-generated video or image to add more creativity and personalization to them.

Use Other Player's Templates

You can also select Worlds, Live Scenes, Images, or Videos that other players have created and use it in your own Spotlight Mode.

Open the Exhibition menu at the upper right corner of your screen then select a template from the options available and select apply afterwards. You can choose which elements to copy from the chosen template, such as clothing, spotlight, world, or all of it.

Click Begin Performance to Tie Everything Together

Once you've uploaded and tweaked your AI-generated video or image, select Begin Performance to tie every thing together. Your character will copy the actions shown in the uploaded video or image, while the in‑game camera follows the selected movement, all while your chosen audio is playing in the background.

Use the Game World as a Scenery or Background

You can go to any location in the game to use as a scenery or background for your performance.

Record then Save or Upload Your Performance

If you're satisfied with the performance, you can record it. After recording, you can either upload it to the Exhibition for others to view or copy, or save it in your own device.

The Spotlight Mode is a feature that lets you create custom poses, emotes, audio, or camera movement. You can also tie everything together and make a custom performance.

The Spotlight Mode is a new feature that was added in the Version 1.3 Update on February 6, 2026. It's one of the many new content added to the game. You can access the Spotlight Mode in the main menu after updating to the most recent version.
