How to Unlock A Beacon in the Dark

Look For Hu Sanbao at the Zipline in Masterwood Hamlet

A Beacon in the Dark Map Location
Region Kaifeng

To unlock the Wandering Tale A Beacon in the Dark, speak with Hu Sanbao at the Zipline south of Masterwood Hamlet. The Zipline is past the bridge midway to the Buddha Statue Site Boundary Stone. Sunbao will be waiting on the platform between the Xu and Mao hours.

How to Change Time

A Beacon in the Dark Walkthrough

Step Objectives
1
Objective 1
Speak with Hu Sanbao at the zipline; she will be standing by a pile of stone slabs on the platform, crying. Help her get her lantern that was blown away by the wind.
2
Objective 2
Climb up to the roof of the zipline and grab the lantern. After climbing the ladder, triple jump to reach the roof.
3
Objective 3
Climb back down to Sanbao and give her the lantern to end the quest.
