Approach Old Jiang in Heaven's Pier, who is surrounded by a crowd.

The encounter triggers automatically when approaching the area where Old Jiang is located.

- Listen in On Yang Cun in Heaven's Pier
Speak to Elder Jiang
Speak to Elder Jiang, the old man telling a story in front of children and progress his dialogue. He'll eventually get frustrated Yang Cun, who is interrupting his story.
Speak to Yang Cun
Speak to Yang Cun who is standing nearby and he'll express skepticism at Uncle Jiang's story.
Progress his dialogue and he'll eventually ask you to accompany him to discredit the story. Accept his request to progress the quest.
Travel to Encircling Lake
Make your way to Encircling Lake at the very southern part of Qinghe and speak with Yang Cun. He'll ask help looking for clues regarding Lord Condor.
Gather Clues Around the Lake

You can find a Rusting Scimitar northwest of where Yang Cun is standing next to some bushes. |

You can find an Odd Contraption Component slightly east of the Rusting Scimitar near the base of the mountain. |

You can find a Shattered Armor Shard near the shores of the lake. slightly northwest of where Yang Cun is standing. |
Once you found all three clues, speak to Yang Cun to present the evidence and progress the quest. He'll then tell you to meet him in Finesteed Hamlet.
Travel to Finesteed Helmet
Make your way to Finesteed Helmet in the eastern part of Sundara Land in Qinghe. Once speak to Yang Cun so you can join in his conversation with Mu Jiren.
Mu Jiren insists that he saw Lord Condor and Yang Cun will ask you to debate him in a Gift of Gab minigame.
Defeat Mu Jiren in Gift of Gab
You'll need to defeat Mu Jiren in a Gift of Gab minigame. Choose the Filibuster style so you can deal more damage to his debate and expose the flaw in his story.
Once defeated, Yang Cun will tell Mu Jiren that he's not convinced with his Lord Condor story. He'll then ask you to meet him at Sage's Knoll where the bird reportedly makes his nest.
Travel to Sage's Knoll
Make your way to Sage's Knoll which is located northwest of Encircling Lake. Once there, speak to Yang Cun and he'll ask you to accompany him in climbing Lord Condor's nest.
Once at the top of the nest, speak to Yang Cun and a cutscene will play where he falls off the nest but is saved by Lord Condor.
Speak to Yang Cun
Make your way to where Lord Condor placed Yang Cun just across the ravine and speak with him. He's shocked that Lord Condor exists and will not respond to your questions.
You'll need to wait two days, after which Yang Cun moves back to Heaven's Pier and you can progress the quest.
Listen in On Yang Cun in Heaven's Pier
Make your way back to Heaven's Pier to the spot where Elder Jiang was standing. Eavesdrop and listen in on Yang Cun who is now telling stories of Lord Condor to the children. Progress and finish his dialogue to complete the encounter.
