How to Unlock The Blade Awaits

Approach the Veteran Near the Intersection Going to Sparrow Sutra Hall

The Blade Awaits Map Location
Region Liangzhou Town, Hexi

To unlock the Encounter The Blade Awaits, apporoach the Veteran standing in the intersection going to Sparrow Sutra Hall. You will hear him lamenting about his old General near a sword.

The Blade Awaits Walkthrough

Step Objectives

Objective 1
After unlocking the quest, speak with the Veteran and help him pull out the sword.

Objective 2
Catch the sword thief using Wind Sense and defeat him in battle.

Objective 3
Talk to sword thief, Zheng Wusi.

Objective 4
Zheng Wusi will dislocate his shoulder during the conversation. Heal his Bone Fracture.

Objective 5
After the conversation, skip to the next day and find Zheng Wusi's letter on a nearby stone then read it.

Objective 6
Return to the Veteran downhill and talk to him twice. You will then be teleported to the Sparrow Sutra Hall.

Objective 7
Once you arrive at the hall, talk to Zheng Wusi.

Objective 8
Search for Clues in the Hall. The letter is on top of the table, and the debris can be found near the drawers in the corner of the room.

Objective 9
Talk to Zheng Wusi inside the hall twice. First, Zheng Wusi will show you Zhang Yichao's Journal. Then, you will then be teleported back to the Veteran.

Objective 10
Submit Zhang Yichao's Journal to the Veteran to complete the quest.
