Tale of Gold Leaves - Volume I |
To unlock the Injustice quest Heart of Malice, you need to first complete the Tale of Gold Leaves: Volume I quest. Then, head northeast of the Hopewell Academy boundary stone to find Liu Fen's Mother.
Tale of Gold Leaves: Volume I Walkthrough
Heart of Malice Walkthrough
| Step | Objectives |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Talk to Liu Fen's Mother and find out that her daughter is missing. She mentions that the children in the area have been looking for the Leaves of the Immortal Tree as well. |
| 2 |  After volunteering to look for Liu Fen, use Wind Sense and follow the trail of footprints in the mud. |
| 3 |  The trail leads to a secluded alleyway where you overhear a group of people talking about their recent schemes. |
| 4 |  Confront the group and defeat them in a fight to clear the alley. |
| 5 |  In the same area, you can find Liu Fen quietly hiding behind a well. |
| 6 |  Escort Liu Fen back to her mother and listen to their conversation. The quest ends after Liu Fen's mother gives you a gift of thanks for finding her daughter. |

Compendium Entry
Completing Heart of Malice will reward you with Echo Jade and boost you with Compendium Points. Additionally, each reward track will reward you with an increasing number of Echo Jade as you hit higher milestones with your accumulated Compendium Points.
