What is Gift of Gab: Spring?
The menu states that one of the requirements to unlock the Scholar profession is a quest called Gift of Gab: Spring; however, there is no quest with this name. Instead, Gift of Gab: Silver Tongue is required to unlock the Scholar profession.
This seems to be a labeling mistake and will likely be fixed in the future.
How to Unlock Gift of Gab: Silver Tongue
Speak with Song Jiu in Heaven's Pier

Find Song Jiu in the Heaven's Pier, you can use the Brewery Backyard teleport point to fast travel close to him. You'll find him training near the bounty board.
Gift of Gab: Silver Tongue Walkthrough
| Step | Objectives |

| 1 |  Find Song Jiu in Heaven's Pier. He will tell you that a brute has stolen his Inner Way Manual. He will ask for your help to retrieve it. |
| 2 |  Meet up with Song Jiu near the Northern Vow Ruins; he will ask you to fight for him in a duel with the man who stole his manual. |
| 3 |  Follow him to confront He Wanchun; instead of a physical battle, he will ask for a duel of words through a Rhetoric Duel. |
| 4 |  To win the debate, reduce his points to zero. You will start with the Bluster Style, which is a perfect counter to his Provocation. Select the card that you want to use to battle He Wanchun's words. You can only use cards if you have enough inspiration to do so. Cards that deal larger damage require more Inspiration Points. Make sure to click the quick-time event when it happens to deal more damage. |

Required to Unlock Scholar Profession
Completing Gift of Gab: Silver Tongue is one of the prerequisites for the Scholar profession, along with visiting Yan Huaijin at Deerforage Grove. Note that you must complete Gift of Gab: Silver Tongue first before visiting Yan Huaijin.
