How to Unlock The Winding Vine

Speak to Wei Guyi at her home in Karez

The Winding Vine Map Location
Region Jade Gate Pass, Hexi

To initiate the Wandering Tale, The Winding Vine, look for Wei Guyi in her home south of the village of Karez and talk to her.

The Winding Vine Walkthrough

  1. Talk to Wei Guli in Her Home
  2. Speak to Li Qiucao Across Wei Guli's Home
  3. Check the Flower Pot and Wait for 10 Minutes
  4. Look for Hu Xilin

Talk to Wei Guli in Her Home

Talk to Wei Guli Inside Her House

Shift the clock to nighttime. Visit Wei Guli in the house south of Karez village. Choose the first dialogue option while speaking to her.

Speak to Li Qiucao Across Wei Guli's Home

Speak with LIu Qiucao

Speak with Li Qiucao, a merchant in a building across Wei Guli's house. Afterwards, return to Wei Guli and speak to her.

Check the Flower Pot and Wait for 10 Minutes

Examine the Flower Pot

Go back to Wei Guli, then check her flowerpot. Return to Wei Guli again after letting 10 minutes pass by in real life. You will find that Wei Guli's flower has finally bloomed.

Look for Hu Xilin

Find Hu Xilin in the Next Room

Find Hu Xilin in the next room of the house. She can be found leaning against the wall by the entrance. Conclude the quest after talking to her.
