How to Unlock Matchmaker's Gambit

Accept the Disguise Commission from Wuyan

Matchmaker

Unlock Req. Disguise Veil of Love

Matchmaker's Gambit is available as a Disguise Commission from Wuyan at the Fairgrounds in Kaifeng city. You need to complete Disguise: Veil of Love first before unlocking this commission.

Matchmaker's Gambit Walkthrough

Step Objectives

Objective 1
(Optional) Go to the marked location in Velvet Shade and speak to Bao Yourong. He can be found by the river on the westside of Velvet Shade. You can teleport to the Velvet Shade boundary stone to quickly get to him.

Objective 2
Draw a portrait of Bi Lian then select Head to Disguise afterwards to quickly go to Wuyan and apply the disguise. You need Rattan Paper to draw portraits.

Objective 3
Go to the marked location in Velvet Shade and approach Mu Guixin to trigger a dialogue. She can be seen with Bao Yourong. You can selecet any of the dialogue options that appear. After the dialogue, you'll complete the quest.

Get Rattan Paper from Wang's Woodcraft

Where Winds Meet - Wang

You can get Rattan Paper from Wang's Woodcraft in Kaifeng Prefecture, just east of the Grand Imperial Temple boundary stone. One paper costs 1000 Coins.
