You can negotiate with the leader of the Mysterious Outpost by going through the entrance and choosing the I've got the info you want option. Note that you must complete the Scholar tutorial first to choose this option, and have a 1500 recommended Scholar Mastery to have an easier time.
You can activate the special event if you approach the outpost from the entrance and choose the option that isn't antagonizing the enemies. If you miss your chance and enemies become aggressive, just fast travel to a different location and come back for another chance to do the special event.

How to Clear Mysterious Outpost
| Step | Instruction |
|---|---|
| 1 | Use your Touch of Death mystic skill and target the Aureate Bell Bearer unit. Prioritize killing him as he strengthens other units. |
| 2 |  Lure the enemies towards the explosive barrel in the middle of the battle field. Then trigger the barrel with your fire arrows. |
| 3 |  Climb the roof whenever you need a moment to heal yourself with the Panacea Fan or potions. |
| 4 |  Lure the remaining enemies into the hut. A second explosive barrel can be found and triggered in this area. |
| 5 | Climb the roof and position yourself near the last explosive barrel. Trigger once enemies gather up under you. Enemies will be easily cleaned up after this. |
