Where Winds Meet has an optional multiplayer mode that contains some MMO elements. Learn more about the details of multiplayer mode, how to invite other players in co-op and online mode, as well as all of its features!

Where Winds Meet offers two types of modes to play in the beginning: Shared Journey for multiplayer and Lone Wanderer for single-player. The multiplayer mode is purely optional unless deemed necessary, such as battling difficult bosses or fortresses.

While not purely MMO, Where Winds Meet does possess some MMO elements when played in multiplayer mode, such as the existence of sects, PVPs, raids, and others.

The game will be available on two platforms: PC and PS5. It is possible to play with other players in multiplayer mode, regardless of which device they are using.

There are numerous ways to activate multiplayer mode in the game. You can either mode switch to Online Mode or invite other players through Co-Op Mode, which is found in the Solo Mode selection on the left side of the screen.

If you find another player nearby, click them, and it will immediately display some player prompts. You can select more multiplayer activities by clicking on any of the choices found in the prompt screen.

Form a party with 4 other players in exploring the open world. You can solve puzzles, defeat bosses, and participate in mini games or events together.
You can form a party of up to 10 members in battling challenging Sentinel Beings scattered throughout the overworld.

By switching to Online Mode, you can access all the features you can do with other players, especially with your added friends. By going to the Social section of the Menu, you can participate in group chats that you are a part of or message a friend privately.

One of the unique gimmicks of the game is how some illnesses or injuries, such as in-game bone fractures, cannot be healed by an NPC medic alone. To resolve this, you will need to find another player who can heal you, which is only possible by playing multiplayer mode.

Mini games, like Wrestling, are playable in multiplayer mode, where you can invite other users to play with you.
