Find the Map in Heaven's Pier After Completing Chapter 1

Chapter 1 - Heaven Has No Pier
|
After completing Chapter 1: Heaven Has No Pier, go to Heaven's Pier. Exploring the Brewery will trigger the Encounter quest Her Legacy.

Her Legacy Walkthrough
| Step | Objectives |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Go to Heaven's Pier brewery and search the shelves with the wine jars. On the lowest shelf of the third rack from the right, pick up the unsent treasure map. |
| 2 |  Open the Treasure Map and study the clue. The map will lead you to the Peace Bell Tower, west of the Brewery in Heaven's Pier. |
| 3 |  Speak with the Old Angler; he will tell you the next clue if you win a fishing competition against him. Make sure that you have a fishing rod equipped; you can buy one from the Peddler at Heaven's Pier. Once you do, speak with the Old Angler to start the competition. To win the competition, make sure to drag the fish into the green zone once you start reeling it in. |
| 4 |  After winning the competition, he will give you a letter and another Treasure Map. Read the letter and study the next map. Travel to General's Shrine and investigate the next location. |
| 5 |  Use Wind Sense to find where the next clue is. This will lead you to a pile of pots near the entrance of a building. Destroy the pots to receive the next map, then speak with the Sweeping Villager. |
| 6 |  Travel to Kilnfire Ridge, near the Emperor Chai Temple. Go to the building on top of the hill east of the temple and speak with the Woodcutter. |
| 7 |  Jump onto the rooftop of the Emperor Chai Temple and look for the next clue; it's right beside the hole in the roof. This will reveal the map to the next location. Travel to Bamboo Abode, the next location is close to the Northern Bamboo Grove Boundary Stone. |
| 8 |  Speak with the Hunter and compete with him in a bird shooting contest to get the next clue. You can use Still Water to improve your aim. After defeating the Hunter, you will receive a letter that will tell you to meet someone at Bamboo Grove Hut. |
| 9 |  You can fast travel using the Bamboo Retreat Boundary Stone. There will be wolves around the area, so be prepared to fight them. Investigate the area; you will find a pile of sacks with heads inside them near the entrance, and there will be a threatening note to Jiang pinned against the broken door. This will trigger a new encounter, Twisted Destiny. |
| 10 |  Continue searching around the hut, and you will find Ruby's Letter behind the building, near the steps. Read Ruby's Letter and receive the Ruby Knots, her final gift for you. Meditate in the hut, and Ruby will speak with you in your dreams one last time. |
