How to Get Performance Entries
Locate the Graceful Melody and Play the Song
To record Music entries, locate the NPC by the Graceful Melody icon on your world map and play the score in their possession. NPCs also reward Ancient Scores that delve into the history of Music entries. To record an Ancient Score, look for it in your Bag and add it to Favorites to unlock its Compendium entry.

Get Echo Jade for Finding Records and Hitting Milestones
Each entry in the Compendium will have its own Echo Jade reward when discovered (ranging from 2~5 Echo Jade per record).
Additionally, each reward track will reward you with an increasing number of Echo Jade as you hit higher milestones with your accumulated Compendium Points.
