WWM - Perception Forest Guide

Perception Forest is a PvP Battle Royale mode available in the Arena challenge via the Wandering Paths. Learn more details about how Perception Forest works, how to unlock this, and all rewards that can be claimed in this guide!

Perception Forest Explained

PvP Battle Royale Mode Options Severance Trial
Sin Leaf Exchange

50 Player PvP Battle Royale

Perception Forest is a PvP mode with Battle Royale elements, which is accessible in the Arena via the Wandering Paths menu. A single round will consist of 50 players maximum.

Playable in Three Different Options

Option Details
Solo Player limit: 50 single-players
Enter the Arena on Solo and get matched with other opposing players.
Duo Team limit: 25 teams
Battle other players by teaming up with another player to form a Duo group.
Flex Team limit: 10 teams
Battle other players while forming a group consisting of 5 people.

Perception Forest is playable on three options: Solo, Duo, and Flex. Playing in the Solo option will pit you against other solo players in the forest, whereas Duo and Flex will require you to form a team.

You can get matched to other potential teammates through the matchmaking process or send invites through the Recommended, Friends, and Channel tabs.

Sect Severance Trial

Players are sent directly to the Perception Forest as a Severance Trial for leaving a Sect. They will need to engage in a Solo round in the Perception Forest before resuming exploration activities. A 24-hour cooldown period will be imposed before joining another sect.

Unlike a formal Forest Perception match, players will spawn in a random area during a Severance Trial.

How to Leave Sect

Buy Items at Sin Leaf Exchange

Item Price
Softweave Dye Powder 200 Sin Leaf

The Sin Leaf Exchange is an item shop exclusive to the Perception Forest, where you can exchange Sin Leaves for various Items. A Sin Leaf is obtained from participating in the Perception Forest and serves as the shop's main currency.

The Yaksha and Unrenderable Bones are cosmetic items featured in the Sin Leaf Exchange and are only obtainable through the shop.

Perception Forest Mechanics

Spawn Points Looting Quests
Enemies Karma Points Duel Arena

Select a Spawn Point

The game begins by selecting a spawn point in 30 seconds. Players will be enclosed in a safe zone, which will gradually shrink over the course of the round due to the Miasma Wave. Each area can hold a maximum of 10 players.

Loot Items on the Ground

Looting Items
All players won't have access to their initial items and must collect weapons, Inner Ways, Gear, Mystic Skills, and support items by looting those found on the ground in the forest. You can also loot items from defeated players, NPCs, or enemy camps.

Loot Blue, Purple, and Gold Items

Blue, purple, and gold items are of higher rarity compared to white colored items. Having rarer items are likely to give you higher stats, which will prove itself to be advantageous when battling opponents.

Perception Forest Quests

Perception Forest Quests
Quest prompts can be found by interacting with the glowing red sword hilt. These often pertain to defeating nearby enemies within a specified time limit. Accomplishing a quest will reward you with Karma Coins.

Bosses and Enemies

Bosses and Enemies
Bosses and enemies may randomly spawn as you explore the Perception Forest. Defeating bosses can drop more valuable loot. Be cautious when approaching a Boss spawn, as nearby players are likely to target them for the items.

Exchange Karma Coins for Items or Revives

Exchange Karma Coins with Merchants
Karma coins are accumulated from looting items, defeating Bosses, or completing quests. You can exchange these with merchants scattered across the map for randomized goods, such as Weapon Chests, Armor Chests, or Inner Way Chests. These can also be used to revive teammates, so use these coins wisely!
