To unlock the quest The Impossible Harvest, you will need to approach Kang Punjiang in the southwest of Kingvine Village Boundary Stone.

1. Talk to Kang Punjiang in Kingvine Village
You will have to find Kang Punjiang in Kingvine Village. He can be spotted at the southwest of the Kingvine Village Boundary Stone. Once you've approached him, ask about his troubles.
2. Talk to Kang Punjiang About An A'san
After the first conversation, talk to him again and he will reveal that An has business with them regarding restoring the village's prominence in wine-making. He will also ask you to speak to three villagers, who are Shi Xiaocheng, Granny Chun, He Yeguang, and An A'san about their farming techniques.
There are total of four items you need to retrieve, which are the Verses of Watering, Verse of Vinting, Verse of Pruning and the Camel Dung, respectively.
3. Change To Zi Hour to Make Shi Xiaocheng Appear
Change the time to Zi Hour of the next day. This will enable you to spawn Shi Xiaocheng up north.
4. Head North to Talk to Shi Xiaocheng
Head north and down the slope until you see a bridge. You will be able to spot Shi Xiaocheng standing near the bridge. Approach and talk to her. Finishing the conversation will allow you to learn the Verse of Watering.
5. Have a Chat With Granny Chun
Head southeast until you find a house with two lanterns on the front. Enter the house and have a chat with Granny Chun.
6. Change Time to Wu Hour
Change the time to Wu Hour of the next day, as this will spawn An A'san inside the caravan.
7. Head to the Foreign Caravan for An A'san
After setting the time to Wu hour, go back to the same bridge you spotted Shi Xiaocheng near at and cross it. Head northwest until you see a foreign caravan with a burning campfire, which belongs to An A'san.
8. Talk to An A'san in the Caravan
Talk to An A'san inside the caravan, where he'll reveal how valuable and in demand the Camel Dung was in the village. Finishing the conversation will give you the Camel Dung. After conversing with him, change the time to Zi Hour of the next day.
9. Talk to He Yeguang
When you're done talking with An A'san, you must head south to talk to He Yeguang in the abandoned He family home. Take note that He Yeguang only appears between the Xu and Mao Hour.
During the conversation, you will hear He Yeguang chanting the Verse of Pruning, which you will learn after finishing the talk.
10. Change Time to Wu Hour
Change your time to Wu Hour to make Kang Punjiang appear in the area. In order to hear the Verse of Pruning, you will also need to give He's wife the bag from He.
11. Submit Items to Kang Punjiang
After talking with He Yeguang, keep heading south until you approach the area with vases in the vicinity. Submit the chants and Stable Manure to Kang Punjiang. Remember that collecting these items can be done in any order!
12. Change to Zi Hour and Talk to Kang Punjiang Near the Vined Tree
Head towards northeast, until you see the tree with vines on the right. Change your time to the Zi Hour on the day after tomorrow, and talk to Kang Punjiang to complete the quest.
You can also use the Kingvine Village Boundary Stone to teleport near the tree for fast travel. However, if Kang Punjiang isn't moving in his place, you can teleport to another location and return again through teleportation to spawn him.
