The damage from your weapon are based on the Physical Attack stat range of your weapon. For example, your weapon has a Physical Attack of 10-16; this means that each hit can randomly apply damage from any number between 10 and 16.

Weapons can gain a random substat from a Tier 31 weapon. Upon reaching Tier 41, players can gain the ability to tune weapons and add a second substat. The third substat slot can be obtained at Tier 51, while the last slot is from Tier 56.

Some weapons can gain a Tuning material substat, which allows them to be used as tuning materials with an added guarantee to the substat rarity based on the stone icon. A purple stone icon guarantees a purple or above substat, while a gold stone icon guarantees a gold substat.
Weapons in Where Winds Meet are categorized into various types. Although their playstyle differs based on their basic moveset, each weapon type is also unique, as it offers different Martial Arts for each weapon.
Martial Arts allow you to alter the moveset of a weapon type, making your weapons unique from each other, and creating a specific playstyle.
