How to Unlock Letters from Afar

|
To unlock the Wandering Tale Letters from Afar, speak with Shi Shouzhi by the entrance to the beach between Heavenfall and Frostgate Crossing. You won’t be able to unlock the quest during daytime, wait until the Xu and Mao hours to speak with him.
Letters from Afar Walkthrough
| Step | Objectives |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Between the Xu and Mao hours speak with Shi Shouzi as he is kneeling on the ground. He has received a letter from his estranged brother and will ask for your help to deliver it to his parents. He will leave the choice up to you if you would choose to give it to the mother or father. Once you deliver the letter the quest will end, so choose carefully. |
| 2 |  You can find Shi Shifu, the father, near the fishing spot in Heavenfall between the Between the Xu and Mao hours. After giving him the letter speak with him and he will tell you about how his son, Shi Shouxin, abandoned his post during the flood two years ago. Delivering this letter will end the quest. |
| 3 |  You can find Cui Xian, the mother, Southwest of Heavenfall where they dry the fishes. She will be standing by the shed at any time of the day. The tale will end once you give her the letter. |
