How to Unlock Rhyme with the Rivals

Approach Kang Wobai at the Jade Mirrored Spring

Rhyme with the Rivals Map Location
Region Liangzhou Town, Hexi

To unlock the Encounter Rhyme with the Rivals, talk to Kang Wobai beside Wu Zimei at the Jade Mirrored Spring. You will hear the both of them arguing.

# Step by Step Objectives
1 Talk to Kang Wobai.png
Begin the quest by talking to Kong Wobai. Choose the following options to continue the dialogue:
・Snow flies from the barbarian sky by the eighth month.
・A thousand pear blossoms bloom into sight.
2 Comfort the Two Poets.png
Afterward, you'll find that Kong Wobai and Wu Zimei are arguing about the better type of poem. They agree to a match, and you will learn that neither of them can actually write poems.
3 Provide Inspiration for the Poets.png
You can help out either Kong Wobai or Wu Zimei in writing their poems by providing them inspiration. Take pictures of four specific sceneries around the area and submit them to the poet that you chose to help.
4 Decide the Winner.png
After helping out either of the two poets, you must then decide a winner. However, the only way to progress the quest is by choosing both and smoothing things over between them.
5 Talk to the Singer in the City Tower.png
Afterward, you must head to the city tower to find new poetry inspiration. There, you will find a singer playing a lute. Ask them about their song's lyrics and he will hand it over to you.
6 Return to the Two Poets.png
Return to the two poets at Jade Mirrored Spring. Recite the singer's song to them to complete the quest.
