How to Unlock Yellow River Coffin

Ask the Wayfarer at Roaring Sands
|
To unlock the Wandering Tale Yellow River Coffin, head to the southern side of Fishwood River where you will find people standing in front of a mysterious gate. Eavesdrop on their conversations to begin the Wandering Tale.
Yellow River Coffin Walkthrough
| Step | Objectives |
|---|---|
| 1 |  On the southern side of Fishwood River, eavesdrop on the three groups of people gathered at a mysterious gate. You will learn about a secret hidden within the Yellow River Coffin tomb. You will receive a clue that the real tomb may be located near Eternal Solitude Hall. |
| 2 |  Go west of Fishwood River to where the supposed location of the tomb is. There, eavesdrop on the Bloodscale Hall thugs before defeating them, then interact with the contraption to open the tomb. Crouch through the hole to bypass the locked gate. |
| 3 |  On the other side of the hole, pull the lever to unlock the doors. There is a chest here beside the statues. |
| 4 |  The next room is a chamber with a large panel on the ground. On the table, you can find a letter called “Trust”. The doors here are locked, so return to the room with the lever. |
| 5 |  In the room with the lever, you will find another tunnel to crouch through. Keep crouching through the tunnels until you reach a chamber with a second lever. Pull it to unlock the door to the chamber. |
| 6 |  Next, pull both levers. You have a few seconds to pull them in quick succession, or else whichever lever you pulled first will reset. After successfully pulling both, the panel covering the ground will lift, revealing a hole underground. Jump down. |
| 7 |  Below, carefully walk along the chain to reach the coffin suspended at the center. Take a second “Trust” letter on the coffin lid. Leave the place by approaching the edge of the coffin with a small beacon. |
| 8 |  Returning to the upper floor of the tomb, exit to the surface where Si Sheng and Pan Renli are. Give the second Trust letter, also called Ren Shanzhong's letter, to Pan Renli to end the tale. |
Unlocks Wandering Tale Nameless Grave
After completing Yellow River Coffin, you unlock a related Wandering Tale called Nameless Grave. Meet Jiang Ping at the site of the fake Yellow Coffin River tomb to start it.
