This is a walkthrough for Local Lingo, an Encounter side quest in Where Winds Meet. Check this guide to find out how to unlock it and what the correct answers are to Big Zhao's test.
How to Unlock Local Lingo

Main Quest - Furnace of Righteousness
|
To unlock the Encounter Local Lingo, you need to have finished Furnace of Righteousness, the last main quest in Chapter 2: Universal Furnace. Teleport to the Imperial Artisan Court via the Imperial Works Bureau Boundary Stone. The time must be set to the Shen hour. Cross the bridge and you will trigger the Encounter. Follow the marker to a house where Big Zhao and a crowd of people are.

1. Talk to Big Zhao
You can find Big Zhao in a small house teaching the Kaifeng dialect to a group of people. Talk to him and he will give you A Kaifeng Primer which you can read in your Bag. While the guide teaches the Kaifeng dialect, it is not a reference for Big Zhao's test.
2. Take Big Zhao's Test
Take Big Zhao's Kaifeng test. There are ten questions Big Zhao can ask, but he will only select five random questions for the test. This means that if you retake the test, the questions will vary. No matter your test results, the quest will end and you will receive the same rewards.

*Note: While Big Zhao responds positively to the question with “a Kaifeng curse word” and “a ball game”, “a Kaifeng curse word” is actually the correct answer.

Big Zhao does not despawn after you finish the quest, so you may retake his test to obtain all three Hero Titles: Fluent Speaker, Conversational Speaker, and Proficient Speaker. You need to get specific test scores to earn all three titles.
