To start the Volume 03 Jianghu Legacy - A Wellspring of Hope, track the quest in your Journal and ride to the oasis at the center of Jade Gate Pass. Activate the Horsehelm Village Boundary Stone there.

1. Investigate the Oasis
| 1.1 | Ride to the oasis in Horsehelm Village. Upon arrival, the house and the greenery will disappear, revealing a different landscape. Trudge forward and observe the lotus ahead, which will attack you and transport you to a camp. |

| 1.2 | In the camp, approach the quest marker to drink from the waterskin. A woman will then arrive. Exhaust all dialogue options until you choose the option to sleep, advancing to the next day. |
| 1.3 | On the next day, follow the quest marker to locate the woman, Xiaosheng, who saved you. Help her uncover the well by using the Cosmic Reversal Mystic Skill. After hearing about a man named He Youqu, carefully descend into the well by landing on the platforms. |
2. Explore the Well
| 2.1 | At the bottom of the well, watch out for the two flowers shooting spikes as you pass through an arch leading to some rubble. Simply run past them, then use Cosmic Reversal to clear the rubble and head deeper into the cave. |

| 2.2 | Ahead, the bridges will collapse. Use Cosmic Reversal to repair them and cross safely over the chasm. Jump fast as the bridges will give away after a few seconds. |
| 2.3 | On the other side, slide down the sand and continue to the end of the cave. Dash past the flower tucked in the corner. Use Cosmic Reversal to repair the wooden structure to climb on top, then press forward. |
| 2.4 | Past a tunnel, look down on the sand and use Cosmic Reversal to summon the lift, then jump on it to be lifted to the top. While you're down there, block the spikes shot by the three flowers. Once at the top, use Cosmic Reversal to get rid of the rubble blocking the tunnel. |
| 2.5 | Avoid more spikes from the lotus flowers as you pass through the tunnel. Outside, defeat two skeletal flower enemies. After defeating them, use Cosmic Reversal to lift the rubble off the entrance to another passage. |
3. Step on the Platform and Raise It with Cosmic Reversal
Inside what appears to be a dead end, you will see pieces of wood scattered on the ground. Stand on the broken wooden platform nearest to the wall (near the Cosmic Reversal icon), then use Cosmic Reversal to raise it until you reach the ledge.
4. Head Deeper into the Cave
| 4.1 | In an area with collapsed ground, use Cosmic Reversal to restore the ground to safely walk to the other side. Run past the silhouetted people to enter the tunnel lit by bright fog. Note: If you fall into the hole, you won't be able to get back up. If this happens, open Settings and select Unstuck to reset your position by returning to your last checkpoint. |

| 4.2 | Continue deeper into the cave while following the quest marker. Eventually, you will come out of a narrow passage where a wooden platform will collapse and enemies will spawn. Defeat them all. |
| 4.3 | After defeating the enemies, step away from the rubble and use Cosmic Reversal to lift them up into the air, revealing a hole in the ground. Jump down to proceed deeper into the cave. |
| 4.4 | At the bottom, you will find yourself in the same area you navigated through before. Restore the structure again to climb on top of it. This time, silhouettes of people will appear, showing what happened in the past. |
| 4.5 | Again, use Cosmic Reversal to bring the lift down and ride it to the top where a bridge is. Use Cosmic Reversal to remove the debris, then continue running ahead until you slide down the sand. |
5. Restore the Oil Lamp
| 5.1 | Further underground, use Cosmic Reversal to pass through the debris blocking your way. You will reach an area with a large stone formation at the center. |

| 5.2 | Climb the rope hanging down the stone. Once at the top, sit down in front of the two figures and listen to the dialogue until it passes. |
| 5.2 | After the dialogue ends, use Cosmic Reversal to restore the oil lamp and wait until you can pick it up. |
6. Go Home
Holding the oil lamp, leave the cave by exiting through the passage ahead. As you pass through, you will witness visions of the villagers of Horsehelm Village and their struggle over water.
7. Talk to Xiaosheng
You will reunite with Xiaosheng after leaving the cave. Talk to her via the dialogue options to learn more about what happened and finish the quest.
